October 22, 2016 - Music of the Masters, featuring "March to the Scaffold" by Hector Berlioz, "Phantom of the Opera" by Andrew Lloyd-Webber and "Incantation and Dance" by John Barnes Chance

November 5, 2016 - Lakeshore Big Band, The BIG, Big Band
Music from the Kings and Queens of Swing and Beyond!

December 2 & 3, 2016 - Festival of Christmas, featuring “Russian Christmas Music” by Alfred Reed, program narration by Tom Zalaski, “T’was the Night Before Christmas” narrated by David Bourgeois, LWE Children’s Choir, LWE Vocal ensemble and audience favorite “Sing-a-long.”

January 14, 2017 - LWE & Big Band Pops, Icons & Legends, featuring music by Johann Strauss, George Gershwin, John Philip Sousa, as well as Pop music through the decades.

March 4, 2017 - Winds of March featuring music for band based on chorales and hymns, “Chester” by William Schuman, “Eternal Father, Strong to Save” by Claude T. Smith, “Give Us This Day” by David Maslanka, and excerpts from “Carmen,” with guest soloist mezzo-soprano Karen Leigh-Post, professor of music at Lawrence University.

More than 80 years of Oscar’s favorite songs that graced the silver screen!

May 6, 2017 - Music from France and Revolution featuring “Grande Symphonie Funèbre et Triomphale” by Hector Berlioz, excerpts from “Les Miserables,” and “Suite Française” by Darius Milhaud. Emily Koslowski, Manitowoc native (and daughter of our concert master, Dennis Koslowski) will be singing music from Les Miserables, which she sang on Broadway.
