The University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc and the Rahr-West Art Museum are collaborating to celebrate fifty years of art on the UW-Manitowoc campus with an exhibit of alumni artwork. Works from students and instructors from as far back as 1967 and from as far away as Israel and California are on display. The exhibit includes work in various media ranging from painting to sculpture to video pieces.
This exhibition is both a celebration of UW-Manitowoc’s historic commitment to its visual arts program and a chance to publicly recognize the on-going effect it has on our students and faculty.
The exhibit opening was Sunday, November 10 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with a brief ceremony at 2:00 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through December 8.The Rahr–West Art Museum is located in Manitowoc at 610 N.
