The University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc is seeking nominations for its first-ever Distinguished Alumni Awards.
An online nomination form must be submitted by Friday, April 14.
The awards were established to honor and recognize UW-Manitowoc alumni who have attained notable achievement in their professional career, demonstrated philanthropic or public service activity in support of the community or provided inspiration to others.
Nominees must have attended UW-Manitowoc for at least two semesters dating back as far as when it was known as UW-Extension, The Center and UW-Manitowoc. Individuals may also self-nominate.
Created in partnership with the UW-Manitowoc Foundation, the Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented at the Scholarship and Awards Luncheon on May 5. The recipients of the award will be honored with a special memento and will have their name engraved on a prominently-displayed perpetual plaque.
