Kaminski donation will benefit UW-Manitowoc students in need

A recent donation from Ron Kaminski and family to the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc will benefit UW-Manitowoc students in financial need. The donation was made in memory of Sharon Kaminski and will be repeated annually to provide assistance to students far into the future.

The fund will benefit students who demonstrate extreme financial need as determined by the Federal financial aid process, with distribution determined by the campus’ Student Affairs staff. Both new and continuing students will be eligible.

“Although tuition at UW-Manitowoc is a comparatively low, many of our students at UW-Manitowoc have financial need that is not fully addressed by Federal financial aid,” says Charles Clark, Campus Executive Officer/Dean. “The education trust that the Kaminski family has established will make it possible for UW-Manitowoc students with such financial need to pursue higher education at a time when post-secondary education is more important than ever. I am very grateful to Ron Kaminski and his family for choosing to honor the memory of Sharon Kaminski in such a generous and far-sighted manner. This gift will have an impact for generations to come.”

The family invites other interested in donating to the Ron and Sharon Kaminski Education Trust Fund to do so at Bank First National.
