The spring Commencement ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 22, in the University Theatre.
Phillip R. Maples, J.D., partner at Michael Best, is the commencement speaker. Maples began his college career at UW-Manitowoc earning the Associate of Arts and Science degree in 1986. He completed his bachelor’s degree at UW-Madison and earned his Juris Doctor (J.D) at University of Wisconsin Law School.
In 2017, he will mark 25 years in the practice of law serving individuals, businesses and families. He is a frequent writer and speaker on estate and tax planning and business legal topics. Maples has served on the boards of many community organizations including the UW-Manitowoc Foundation.
UW-Manitowoc graduates at the spring Commencement ceremony will be awarded the Associate of Arts and Science Degree.
A reception for graduates and their families will be held in the commons following the ceremony.
