UW-Manitowoc offers several intramural sports throughout the academic year. Intramurals provide students opportunities to continue playing sports they enjoy, or try new sports, in a less competitive setting. Games take place during the free hour between 12:10-1:10 p.m. on various days of the week.
Offerings depend on student interest, but typically include:
- Flag football
- 3 on 3 basketball
Additional intramural sports could include: dodgeball, soccer, golf, softball, floor hockey, and more.

The UW-Manitowoc Fitness Center is FREE for all students, faculty, and staff. Located in the lower level of Founders Hall, the Fitness Center is accessible Mon-Fri, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

- Bosu balls
- Other various items to help you get a complete workout
UW-Manitowoc is nestled on the shore of Lake Michigan and adjacent to Silver Creek Park. Silver Creek Park offers 27 holes of championship level disc golf and plenty of trails for walking, jogging, and hiking. During the winter months, you can even go sledding and ice skating at Silver Creek Park.
Our unique location provides the opportunity to head out our back door and walk to the Lake Michigan beach in two minutes. UW-Manitowoc is the only public university in Wisconsin with direct access to the Lake Michigan beach. Our backyard overlooking the lake is a great place to partake your favorite yard games.
In our indoor lounge area, students enjoy ping-pong, billiards, and multiple gaming systems.
